Keep your project on budget and ahead of schedule

Our tiles can be installed in almost any weather.

Due to the size of the panels they aren't impacted by the wind like long-run and they also have a non-slip coating to ensure they can be installed in the wet. They are not reliant on a seal strip to bond panels together like asphalt shingles. This means less weather delays and downtime as you wait to get them building enclosed, ensuring you can keep to your schedule.

Faster installation

Tilcor profiles are installed as panels instead of individual tiles, making the process faster than tradional tiles. Practical install methods and products that work well together in real life. The panels are installed in a simple cut, nail or screw and interlock system which means, installer productivity is maximised, and less labour is needed for overall. Our roofs are a modular, lightweight system, often an entire roof can be delivered on one pallet, saving space on site and reducing delivery costs.

Save on scaffolding

As the entire roofing system gets delivered up-front there are no delays for the measuring and manufacturing of flashings. Our contractors have everything they need to complete the roof so there is no need to keep scaffolding up as you wait for them to come back to complete the job.

Save on time

With Tilcor, the roof of an average sized home can be finished within 4 days of the installation start.

Made from highest quality materials

Made from highly regarded pure New Zealand steel and the highest quality stone, our ISO9001 manufacturing facility, upholds the highest standards from product sourcing, through manufacturing to delivery of materials and beyond.

The steel is coated with Zinalume, combining the corrosion protection of aluminium with the sacrificial protection of zinc to create an alloy that's ideal for roofing and with a servicable life that far exceeds galvanised products.

Our tiles are painted once they have been pressed and formed. This ensures that the paint doesn't fracture or crack during the forming procecss. Our tiles go through an extensive Qualiting Assurance process and our coating technology makes for the extremely long serviceable life.

Environmental Benefits

Sustainable

Made from the most recycled building material in the world, steel. Steel is infinitely recyclable so unlike other roofing products it will continue to be reused over and over again. Also given that the entire roofing system can be supplied on 1 -2 pallets, a Tilcor roof has a low carbon footprint.

Potable Water

Tilcor roofs have been tested and meet the World Health Organisation standards for water run off, meaning you can drink water from a Tilcor roof, some other petroleum based roofing products can break down and become toxic after a few years.

Best thermal performance and energy efficiency

Tilcor roofs are known as “cool roofs”. This means they have the ability to cut building owners’ energy costs because they reduce the need for air conditioning.

Tilcor roofing products are designed to be elevated from the roof deck which creates a natural air flow referred to as “Above Sheathing Ventilation”(ASV). This ventilation prevents heat gain in the summer and heat loss in the winter. In addition to proper attic insulation, this can help lower electric costs associated with heating/cooling.

The combination between our steel panels and ASV have seen customers achieve 30% reductions in the energy bills (compared to Asphalt shingle direct-to-deck installation).
